Bill,

You are thinking 1990's.
Back when Dr Bradfield was doing his bit things wern't what they were
today. Not everyone had cars and the railways were not under some stupid
plan to try and make money, if they had to  no trains would of left the
Sydney basin, In fact the line to Parramatta would of shut down
completely. They built Zig Zag, if they did that they could do just about
anything including the good doctors plans.
