I received many personal and very good responses from the former
Victorian Minister for Transport, Alan Brown. For those who regularly
use Alamein/Belgrave/Lilydale lines may recall back in the early 1990s,
additional express trains were made to stop at Glenferrie (to benefit
students Swinburne University and surrouding private schools). Well,
that was achieved after my correspondence to the Met Trains and later,
Mr Brown. One thing to keep in mind is to have a validate reason for
your request and back it up well. In my case, I told them the length of
waiting time and approximate number of commuters waiting (don't
over-estimate either!). Finally, be patient, as it takes time for them
to get things in place.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

I.C.
