The few times I've boarded an NBC bus with a MetCard, the driver has waved
me on board without checking if it was validated, in fact without checking
the expiry date.

It is published MetCard policy for unvalidated MetCards not to be accepted
on services not converted to automatic ticketing. I don't think they had in
mind that NBC would be holding out so many years later though!

Yes, NBC should be forced to install them. Anyone care to explain why they
haven't done it?
