Brisbane radio 4KQ just reported five people killed when the Sydney -
Melbourne Overnight XPT ran into a car on a level crossing near the
Victorian border, around 4am today, Saturday 27th Jan 2001.
No one on the XPT was injured.
Countrylink spokeperson said it would look into the accident to find
out why the vehicle was on the tracks at the level crossing.
No mention of damage to the XPT.
