What?! ... Avoid Roma Street? ... I don't think so.  I've had absolutely no
problems whatsoever with photographing trains at Roma Street. Just be sure
to ask a member of staff if you can go up to the platform ... also have a
valid ticket on you or get a platform pass for the long distance platforms.

Well the only reason why the member of QR staff was being hostile to the two
certain railfans was because they were walking along the track. If you stay
on the platform, you should be right. BTW the member of QR staff lives right
next to Woombye station.

Stay away from Yeerongpilly though ... they staff there are beyond all
reasoning. If you want to photograph anything there, get up on the
footbridge.
