--- Perhaps you should ask the same question about the concrete sleepers
being laid between Rockhampton and Townsville. Rockhampton to Gladstone is
double track 1067 mm gauge and the Melbourne-Darwin people have plans if
they can get the money for standard gauge linking Brisbane and Gladstone via
Toowoomba etc.
