FreightCorp coal trains have train designations starting with a letter, then 3
numbers.
The letter is the colliery, and the number is indicates loaded or unloaded.  Mines
are (for example) T = Mt Thorley  U = Ulan  B = Bloomfield  C = Camberwell  S =
Stratford   etc, etc.

Your 6HN1 carries National Destination codes, but in this case, the N stands for
Newdell Junction, not Newcastle.  I can't remember what the H was for.
