I totally agree. When you tell me you do not believe a bland statement of
fact, its very hard to keep a meaningful discussion going.

> We can keep arguing in circles on this, but I don't really see any point.

I am pleased. You were making the same point over and over, ultimately we
are unlikely to reach agreement on this.

If you are not trying to persuade me to your point of view, what is your
motive in continually pushing your opinion?

But surely if you are criticising somebody you would expect them to respond.
Even if you keep repeating the same mantra. One of the results of this is
that I am unlikely to voluntarily share any information with this group
because it takes too much of my time answering the same criticisms and
misinformation that are aired every time Dorrigo is mentioned. When you
find out what we purchased last weekend, there will be a repeat of this
thread. Unfortunately when we do not respond, we risk the misinformation
being taken as truth, as you have done.

You have not been paying attention. Even just weatherproofing and earthworks
have been enormous undertakings. You seem intent on belittling us. No wonder
this thread has degenerated.

> The only thing that will change my opinions about Dorrigo is if you
actually become a successful railway museum.

I am past caring about your opinion. Ultimately, it is the membership that
has to be satisfied with our progress.

argument.

A good idea. I can then get back to helping develop the new DSRM web page.

And if this is really the end of this thread, I would like to close by
thanking those people from outside DSRM who have posted (both to aus.rail
and direct to me) supporting our efforts.
