This leads me to ask, what is double catenary/contact in the Sydney system used
for? I know there is double contact on the ESR and Redfern to Strathfield, and
double catenary in the Blue Mountains and on the up from Chatswood to St
Leonards. Where else is it used? Concerning the latter section, why would it be
used for such a short distance? One more thing, how thick are standard feeder
cables?
