Yes but they were just an extension of the Z1 order and almost
identical. They were ordered to keep the production line going pending
final design work on the three-door Z3s (of which another 115 were
built).

Yes, thanks, I overlooked 2000 and 2001 (the prototypes of the Melbourne
artic trams). 

I have never really been able to work out what the 4D is from the
newsgroup. Is it the sole (Sydney style) Tangara train in Melbourne, or
what?
