Alstom will supply 29-6 car sets, the new train will start coming in
2002 and refurbish 45/74 exist set. Hillside would probabily throw away
all the Hitachi, interesting enough Hitachi aren't that old by the time
its retirement(2002) comes, I think there will be older rolling stocks
running around in Sydney.
Yarra Trams will also order 31 trams from Alstom based on "Citadis"
low floor design.
