The big deal of this topic is whether there is adequate path for this log train
between Lilydale and Spencer Street without blocking regular Hillside services.

** My earlier reply to this thread **

Weekdays please, as there is not sufficient time slot during the weekend (eg. 20
minute frequency, the up/down train cross either at Mooroolbark or Lilydale,
plus the additional up Mooroolbark footy special on some weekends). If running
during weekday between peaks, the up Coldstream train will have to follow right
behind the up Lilydale (up LIL cross down LIL between Ringwood East and
Croydon), and when it gets to Ringwood, follow the up Belgrave from Ringwood.
Don't forget the late running fine is now in place, surely Hillside wouldn't
want the log train to block its services.
