It could be David, it could be. Fortunately the majority of Steamrail tours
are not on the country freight lines, most of our business is day tours
going no further than (for example) Geelong in March, Traralgon in August,
Seymour in May, Bendigo in April.  Tours like Echuca in June and Robinvale
in November would be no more except for the inevitable stream of 'last
trains' again.
We have some SG capability in terms of rollingstock capable of being
converted to SG and the inevitable trying to convert an R to SG, but we
would survive the expected SG conversions without massive loss of potential
revenue. Sleeping cars may end up being mothballed.

When it comes to the decision on whether to SG or not, preservation won't
get a look in, neither will improved passenger services ie Mildura, it's not
where the money is.
