Having just read the article in the July 2000 issue of Trains Magazine about
the New York Cross Harbor railway, I was wondereing if there are any similar
operations in Australia, or have been in the past?
For those who have not seen the article, this operation is essentually a
rail link across New York harbor involving loading rail wagons onto a car
float to transport them accross the stretch of water.
