Experience in Europe suggests that the magic 3 hours has been pushed out
to about 3.5 hours, thanks mainly to Thalys and Eurostar. Even though
total time between origin and destination is slightly longer, there is
more productive work time on the train. The time between when the plane
starts its descent (laptops off) and getting into the taxi is lost.
And you can't use your mobile phone in a plane.
