Although I have no connection with any group up there...(nor do I)

If I was the elected head of the DSR&M, I would resign from that position and let
someone else take over to heal the wounds between the two groups. A responsible
person would not stayed in that position when all that bitterness and twistedness
was going around. Once the storm had blown over maybe I would  then try to get
elected again depending on support, even if I had acted above board.
