Both Connex and Bayside *are* stupid enough to run 3 car trains on the
Ringwood and Caulfield lines on summer weekend days with no special events.
Trains on Saturday were packed. The two Frankston line trains I caught were
standing room only from the city to Caulfield and beyond, and the Belgrave
train I saw at Spencer Street looked like a sardine can.
