I know he used to have a taxi company that used to go to Swan Hill from
Melbourne.  On his (Reg) last trip to Swan Hill before he started the
airline he got a new tyre from my grandfather who had a service station in
Swan Hill and promised to pay for it on his next trip.  And he never
returned.  My grandfather was still annoyed about that until the day he
died.
