The prototype is the crossing of the Pleystowe mill main line to Victoria
Plains and North Eton over the Marian branch. You can get to it by following
the mill line down Griffith Road which runs south off Eungella Road west of
the mill.

These installations are actually lift bridges rather than drawbridges. The
cane line when it is lowered is supported on the rails of the "big" line.
