Somebody had to do something in Victoria after the
Cain/Kirner years, because it was not just effecting
the Vic's, but the rest of Australia, Kennett went too
far, he has paid the price.

I am not impressed with stadiums, racing circuits and
casinos as a measure of "good government".

SEC Victoria were one of the great power generation
authorities, feather bedded and top heavy it may have
been, but could have been fixed. It was sad what
happened there. But I remind folks that Loy Yang power
station was sold off to overseas interests before it
produced any power by a Victorian Labor government
before Kennett go in. He just carried on and flogged
the rest off. Ordinary folks are still waiting for the
cheap power and better service.

Yes it will be interesting. I can not imagine any
state government wanting to invest and or buy back
railways, how do you unscramble an egg anyway.?
