Ticket usage survey (Metcard). was: Metcard Stats.

Just to get the survey thing straight this is how it works:
Someone on the tram asks you the following:
Would you like to take part in the survey to see how people use their tickets?
What type of ticket do you have today? (2-hour, daily etc...)
What zone(s) is the ticket valid for? (1,2,3)
Is your ticket Full Fair or Concession?
(Then give you a form to fill in)
What is your first name and a contact phone number?
What time is the bext time for us to ring you?

A day or two later they ring up and ask the questions filled in on the form.
First check what ticket you had.
Where you bought the ticket
How much it cost.
If it is a concession ticket, what type of concession (Secondary, etc...)
What year were you born in?
Male or Female.
Post code for where you live.

Then the trip data.
First the trip you were on when the person surveyed you.
The the trips before you were surveyed (ie first trip till the one you
were surveryed)
The trips after you were surveyed (ie trip after surveyed till last trip)

For each trip the following is asked:
Mode (Train, Tram, Bus)
Route/Line (e.g St.Albans, route 109)
Station/Location where journey started (e.g. Sunshine, Collins/Spencer Street)
Station/location where journey finished (same as above, something Metcard can't
tell you)
Start Time of Journey (something Metcard can only tell you when you validated,
ie at a Station you might validate 20 minutes before the train comes, trams and
buses will be correct)
Finish Time of Journey (something Metcard can't tell you unless you get off
at a station with barriers)

(I have been surveyed a couple of times now)
