A resident of Singleton tells me that the new NRC coal working for the Upper Hunter power stations is operating as a push-pull arrangment, with locos at front and rear of the train, presumably to cope with reversing the train after leaving the Mt Thorley branch. Can anyone enlighten us? I haven't had time to get near that part of the line in months. Graham Smith
