That is one thing i agree on, the forte is a little ugly but the rest
isn't bad, and atleast ford changes the body of the car for different
variants (fairmont, fairlane, XR, ect) the VT has the same bodyshape on
all their variants with the exeption to the SS and the GTS and this is
only to accomodate a larger radiator

I had exactly the same experience in a <ahem> police VT, the back is
really cramped and the front isn't much better

The taxi company's use Falcons because of their reliability, do you know
of a commodore that has done 500,000 K's and still run well?

We must also point out that the VT was released quite a long time before
the AU, thats how they get the big sales figures
