Re: new 45 class cabs



    If they wanted better visibility then why didn't they just lower the short
hood like they did with the 45 they leased to BHP. As for the safety what is the
difference between this and the 442's, 422's, 81's, 82's, 90's and any other
loco with a cab right at the front of the loco. Is it just cheap and flimsy
construction or is there some other safety problem? Anyway I hate the look of
the Pilbara style cabs!
