Avon river bridge at Stratford.
There are also persistent rumours that FV is looking to Leongatha (Murray
Goulburn UHT factory largest in southern hemisphere), Koala siding sand
traffic,and who knows what.
Locomotive usage in the east has seen X,H,P&T lash ups of late and
incidental reports from retired railway people along the line have commented
that there appears to be more freight traffic on the line.
The down side is that it would seem NarNarGoon and Trafalgar are buggered
for crossing,runarounds,and or terminates now.
Engineering staff have been noted in Warragul yard this last week with tape
measures out, measuring tracks at the up end of the yard and writing copious
notes on clip boards..What this means ,no idea, perhaps a loop for the log
loading is being investigated to speed up shunting and clearing loaded
wagons.
So I would suggest that on the whole this end of the hub is looking a bit
rosy.
