Because a driver found to be at fault by crossing illegally and causing an
accident would be liable? (What is the situation in Victoria - is TAC the
body responsible for CTP insurance?) There is also the potential revenue
implications - both the revenue from the red light cameras if they are
introduced, and the implications of delayed services and associated costs
from having the line blocked due to an accident.
