GDR :-) I like it.
I won't start on the Sydney Guard caper but I have worked some of those
modified cars. It appears that Cityrail are up to their old tricks, with
bodgy "tack on" door open lights. They have wired the indicator lights
in bypassing the test circut (on K sets), so we can't test if the thing
is working or not. And of course we STILL have no speedos that work.

It was probably the conductor story "modified" to Cityrail standards.
