Re: Melton - Bacchus Marsh closed

: Rockbank.

There is an interim timetable booklet, you can get them from places like:
Spencer Street, Footscray, Sunshine etc.

With regard to the safeworking at the moment:
Rockbank Control panel has been transfered to Melton from Bacchus Marsh
for the duration of the works

A works train is operating weekly between Ballarat and Bank Box loop
to keep the track in a serviceble condition.

Baulks are provided at Signal Post No.6 at Bank Box loop and
post 11 at Melton.

Signal post 11 at Melton and post 54 at Ballarat are not to show proceed.
(pilot for the works train)

Signal Box at Melton to stay open at all times & Bacchus Marsh open when
works train is operating.

Reason for closure:
Melton Weir Bridge works AND the bridge at 60.310km (down side of
Bacchus Marsh)

So the correct title of this posting is Melton - Ballarat closed
(with the expection of the works train to Bank Box Loop)
