Research has indicated that the Ballarat C - Sulky section was no different
to most of the others in that you pressed a bell key etc etc etc. You know
the rest. It appears that the bell key in question was a separate key in a
box on the wall and not the tapper associated with the electric staff syste,
either on the instrument or generator.

It would seem that all the Victorian sections were similar except for Korong
Vale-Mysia-Boort-Barraport-Quambatook which was only automatic in the
direction of the unattended station - Mysia and Barraport.
