it was a very confusing situation, where the signalman at "C" box had a
button on the wall which acted as the "signalman at Sulky Loop". When he
pressed the button, and it made all its associated checks to see if the
staff could be released, and then released the staff at "C" box to be given
to the train. The crews would work the staff into the machine at the other
end. When a train required a staff at Sulky, the crews would operate the
staff machine and "C" box would release the staff for them at the Loop.

If this is not the way that it happened, and someone actually worked thru
this, then please explain it to me, as this is how it worked to the best of
my knowledge.
