Sidings at Port Kembla being removed

All the sidings along Darcy Road at Port Kembla, beside Incitec, are
currently being ripped up by a company called Taylor Railtrack. These
sidings also used to provide access to the eastern breakwater, MM, and ER&S
(now Port Kembla Copper). The only use these sidings had seen in recent
years was the storage of condemned wagons. The only siding left is the one
that goes through Incitec and used to go to Nos 3 & 4 Jetties. This siding
is currently being used to load pipes from road trucks into rail wagons for
NR.
