No matter where any group connect Grahame, while the money continues to
come in from BG operations, there is not much point a group sticking its
neck out and trying to create a market on the SG until there are enough
lines to justify it.  Certainly you are correct in saying look for the
gov't dollar, because no group currently operating in Victoria could
possibly bankroll such an operation.
Speaking on behalf of Steamrail, we have taken certain steps to ensure we
have the option to go SG (K cars), but in the forseeable future, we are
not actively pushing ourselves in that direction.

As for the interstate market, I'm still waiting for the day 3801 steams
past the steamrail depot at Newoprt, but I think I'll be waiting a while. 
They do the same thing we do, concentrate on the markets within 2 hours of
the capital.

One day there will be an R on the SG, one day.
