If you look in the latest Melways, you will find that there is a proposed
station called Coolaroo where you mentioned it.

        Have you ever seen the end of the Flemington line?  It is at a
rather high altitude!  It would be basically impossible due to expence to
cross the Maribynong river as this valley is very deep and wide, and it
would be hard to run it down the East bank as the hill falls away from
Flemington Racecourse very sharply southward.
