If this isn't a stupid quiestion, why not attach a new airport line to the
existing freight line from Tottenham to Broadmeadoews and havit branch off
underground near the Airport Drive/Western Ring Road interchange.  This is
similar to a suggestion the PTUA came up with for expanding Melbourne's rail
network.

A rail line to the airport was something that the Victorian Government
should have thought of when Tullamarine was constructed.  Oh, silly me.
That would require politicians to use both sides of their brains.
