Many thanks for putting the "hot off the press" pics of the new FV paint job up
so quickly.

Now, a few comments on it!

I love the logo of Vic in the map of Australia, 10/10

The 2 colors go together quite well I think 9/10

The new variation of the wings is quite good BUT the wings should stop on the
front cab wall. The wings running into the number plate on the cab sides look
like an afterthought. 7/10, (10/10 if they adopt my suggestion re cab side)

If FV is worried about visibilty (evidenced by the yellow around the number
boards) why didn't they use some yellow on the cow catcher? I don't think there
is enough yellow at eye level and hence don't see the need for the yellow
around the number boards. Personally I don't see the need to paint a loco for
visibility when the loco is equipped with headlights and ditch lights. 

All in all I think it is the best of the recent (10-15 years) schemes seen in
Australia. 

It should look great on an A class, FV did get some/all of the A's didn't they?
