This really has to work both ways though - in the thread regarding the
Sydneham blockade, the only thing that indicated it was Sydenham VICTORIA
was that Bendigo trains would be affected.

Now someone in Australia KNOWS that Bendigo is in Victoria - but people
overseas may not know that. An expectation that Australian posters would
have a basic knowledge (as the Sydenham blockade thread appeared to presume)
could be extended to include the knowledge that Epping NSW has a middle
road, whilst Epping VIC does not.

I do not agree that it should go that far, but it is not only the NSW people
who assume they are the centre of the universe (which we are, with the best
AFL team - GO SWANNIES!) - but the Victorians do it as well.
