driver bashing; was Sydney train violence.

Hi John,

Ok, I'll take the bait!!!

what is your aim?? Did you try to become a driver and failed??

I suggest it is time you spent a few hours beside the tracks and
watched some trains.

Watch the way the driver starts 3000 tons of coal or containers
without too much, if any, wheel slip? Than watch the driver stop 3000
tons of coal at a signal.

Watch how a driver brings 3000 tons of coal down the Blue Mountains
without losing the air supply or the train running away!

The trains may not be 3000 tons of coal in your part of the world but
in central QLD it is 10,000 plus of coal with 4x4000hp electric locos
spread through the train plus all the slack... that takes skill!

Cheers
Peter Cokley
