Re: All Trains To Be Replaced
Hi,
I have found it is not the urine and vomit that smells most often, its more
the musty smell in the carpet for weeks after it has been raining. In some
sets you can see the carpet rotting away.
I dont see that you have to completely remove the carpet to fix this
problem, when carpeting was implemented into the sets the vestibule area
should have kept a rubber floor surface, like in the MTH cars. The Met's
other option of course is to actually bother closing the doors and windows
when a set is stabled for the night.
Regards
Michael.
PS, yes you can smell floor pizza / regurgitated alcohol, and urine
sometimes on a saturday or sunday morning on some sets.
