Union Pacific (and others) have no problem with Distributed Power. I
wonder why Freightcorp has problems with proven equipment. Possibly
yet another case of having to reinvent the wheel before using it
again. QRs coalies use radio-control remotes and VLPs XPT (eXpress P
class Train) uses a loco each end of a consist with hard wiring so
radio-control or hard wired, boths systems are used in Australia but
FC cannot get it to work in Sydney. Different laws of physics,
electrickery or some other mysterious reason? :-)
