[Melb] MetCrud Express?

Has there been any word on when, if ever, we might get MetCrud Express
in Melbourne?

I'm getting quite fed up with aiming my monthly ticket at the ticket
slot in the barriers...  [assuming I haven't just walked through the open 
gates].
