I can tell you all that this week at Wodonga has been bloody awful.
We thought our Collins St controllers were dumb!
Wodonga A box cannot speak to Adelaide at all! And it seems Collins St.
wont!
Wodonga Signalmen [FOE's] have been threatened with sacking if they block
through trains [or so it seems to us] they will not let us out to shunt Bens
or Milos without permission, and Adelaide can't be contacted [or wont!]
Last night I arrived at Wodonga at 0230 and had to wait till 0410 for the
XPT and a shunter.
then till 0600 for a path to do a 30 min shunt.
The up train we waited for was reported by Albury Box to be thru Albury at
0510, and we actually saw it at 0610. :Long hours are becoming
longer.........and my 25 years of sick leave is looking better and better.
If the AFULE was still a goer, I am positive they would not get away with
this shit!
