That is a good idea to bring the SG into FSS. But would the old viaduct be
strong enough to handle an NR/BL?
If it is a case of using the new viaduct, the train would have to terminate in
platforms 10 and 12 at FSS, which would mean a major upgrade of facilities and
with privitisation, who would pay?
I'm sure that MTE wouldn't want to pay.
VLP own/use pl 12 and soon (after FSS renovation) pl 10. I don't think that they
would want to pay.
GSR already have a platform to use at SSS and that would mean paying for
something that they already have. This would also mean that the Ghan/OL would
have to use pl 13/14 at SSS.
