And Bendigo and Christchurch had tramway systems, and trams from those
places operate on their heritage lines.
Canberra never had trams. A heritage line there is an utter nonsense as
there is no tramway heritage to recreate.
Now if they went ahead with the proposals for a modern tramway
system.... What was the proposed line they brought the B2 from
Melbourne for a few years back? Gungalin? That would be a worthwhile
project, but it should be with modern low-floor trams, not windswept,
freezing, clanking Ws or Rs (or even worse, Os).
