Federation Tramway (Canberra)

The Federation Tramway has failed to secure any Federation funding. 

The steering committee (coordinated by the National Film and Sound
Archive) 
is now seeking other Federal and ACT government and corporate funding to 
build a heritage tramway between the National Museum on Acton Peninsula
and 
the War Memorial. 

Trams would be loaned by the Sydney Tramway Museum, rotated occasionally.
The Victorian government has offered to donate some trams if the project 
goes ahead.
