They wouldn't want to be too much wider.. maybe a few extra mm?
As for the number of cars in a set: All the graphics and artist's impression
pics
show four car sets in the brochures.
Also they are supposed to be running in the same way as tangaras ie
driving trailer-motor-motor-driving trailer. Having only three cars would mean
a motor:trailer ratio of 1:2.. not something that I believe would hold up.
