It's 200kW, which is 272hp. The Valenta 12RP200L is rated at 1680kW
(gross), downrated to 1477kW (gross) in Australia. The XP is listed as
having 1353kW (max) available for traction, with 1153kW when supplying
auxiliary power. Bear in mind that the XP is slightly heavier than its
British cousin the class 43.
