The River Cat is an existing public transit service which has multiple
stops in the CBD, so there no need to walk more than a few blocks to
get to one.

Whether a light rail service would be a useful *additional* public
transit service as far as getting from the CBD to UQ is separate
issue.

If it just ends up duplicating an already existing and adequate
service, instead of delivering a new service to inadequately serviced
areas, a chance to improve the overall Brisbane transit situation will
have been lost.
