NSW and Vic Wheat

I have seen a fax copy of a shipping mag that has an article on Tasrail
owner of ATN (Australian Transport Network) has agreed to a 6 year agreement
with a 4 year option with the AWB (Australian Wheat Board) to move wheat
within NSW and Vic. The start date haven't been set yet, ATN estimates they
will move 300,000 tonnes a year. Initially ATN will only operate one train
but there is scope in the agreement to run more if needs be. The grain will
be moved from Vic. and southern NSW to the Globex facility in Melbourne or
to Port Kembla if necessary. It will be interesting to see what will be
running the trains.
