Sorry, but that's an "urban myth", which I think was discussed on this group at the
time.  Loco's allowed were B61 and S301.  B61 is noted as lighter than other B's.
S301 must also be lighter than its classmates.  It was academic anyway, you can't
turn them at Bairnsdale, and couldn't double-head across the Avon River....
