It used to be GW trains to Burnley then buses... nowadays to save money they
get everyone to catch ringwood line trains to burnley (hence overcrowding)

the buses leave about 5-8 mins after the train arrives

buses arrive approx 10mins before the train arrives..

Burnley was manned with station announcements telling people where to go...
no other station was manned... usually signs at the station entrance.
although they were a bit hard to read...

advertising posters are up at all stations (ie city stations, and all
stations along GW line) with timetable. these were up approx 1 week before
the closure

There were express buses to Darling as well as stop all buses... but there
was no advantage to catching an express bus as it arrived at Darling about 3
mins after the train departs... then u got onto the next train and waited
for about 15 mins for it to depart...

hope this helps
